Palmerston

Palmerston is one of the Cook Islands' most isolated communities. The record here reflects that remoteness — renewable energy to cut reliance on imported diesel, a cyclone shelter for severe weather, and the eradication of invasive rats to protect the island's environment, food security and biodiversity.
