Taunganui Harbour Rehabilitation and Upgrade

The Southern Group Harbours Project rehabilitated and upgraded Taunganui Harbour, restoring safer, more reliable access for passengers, freight and essential supplies to Mauke.

Delivered through the Southern Group Harbours Project, the rehabilitation and upgrade of Taunganui Harbour improved maritime access for passengers, freight and essential supplies to Mauke. Separate later wharf-improvement proposals in the national infrastructure plan are not part of this completed project and are held pending confirmation.
