H.E Elizabeth Foster Wright Koteka, High Commissioner to the Cook Islands presented her credentials to New Zealand Governor General Dame Patsy Reddy at Government House yesterday. Present also for this auspicious occasion were Hon Aupito William Sio,Minister of Pacific People,Professor Piri Sciascia and Sir David Gascoigne.
It is such an honor said Prime Minister Puna to have a Cook Islander of such a high caliber and work ethic based in New Zealand and advocating on our countries behalf.
I have no doubts,he said, that she will continue to serve our country diligently, build a team around her, with our very capable staff already there and yet again demonstrate the role that Cook Islands women play in leading our countries best interests on the local, regional and international stage.
